ESPN says no to boobs
Apparently ESPN is fine with putting a pregnant Candace Parker on the cover of its magazine, but doesn't like it when boobies are used to promote its radio stations.
The Bristol boys have caused the cancellation of 950 ESPN's Battle of the Babes. This March Madness style tourney was connected to the GirlsofPhilly.com website (NSFW). The tourney, which is basically a ripoff of the bigger and better Bigger Dance put on by Seattle's 950 KJR and Mitch Levy, was shut down after only one round of voting.
It seems strange as the website is a regular advertiser on the site. So, ESPN is OK taking cash from the site but doesn't want them involved in promoting something on the station?
